Former victors fc and Updf officer Brigadier general Jackson Tushabe Bell has breathed his last on Tuesday 30th June at Nakasero hospital in the morning.
The General is former 1986 war veteran who was declared as 4th division commander in Museveni’s National Resistance Army (NRA).
After the National Resistance Army captured power he served the army until the early 1990s when he retired from the Army.
In 2019 was among officers promoted after evacuation from rank of Lt Colonel to Brigadier General.
Bell who was owner of victors fc between 2005 and 2013 when the got relegated eventually collapsed .
While at victors fc emerged to win two Uganda cups ,2008 under guidance coach Sula Kato beating kinyara fc 1-0 in final then two later Coach George best Nsimbe winning Simba in the penalty shootout 5-4 ,in the regular time the game ended 1-1.
The football admistrator severed Fufa, as Fufa vice president in charge of competitions under Dr Lawrence Mulindwa regime from 2005 to 2011 when he resigned due to health problems was replaced by Issa Magoola.
He was chairman of the super Divisions Clubs Association(SDCA) stepping down in 2006 and also chairman Fufa competitions committee between 2005 and 2009.
