Midfielder Tom Masiko has signed a permanent deal with Uganda Premier League outfit Wakiso Giants, the club confirmed on Tuesday morning.
“We are delighted to announce that Tom Masiko has joined the club on a permanent contract from Vipers SC,” a club statement read.
Masiko featured for the Purple Sharks last season but on loan basis, but has now completed a permanent move signing a three year contract.
Masiko who expressed satisfaction in his first stint at the club is happy to commit to the team and achieve great things with it.
“I am happy to make a permanent move. I had good time here last season and want to continue my marriage with the club as well as create history here,” Masiko told the club website.
He also lauded his former employers, Vipers for putting him into shape for the top tier football.
“I want to thank Vipers for the great time I had at Kitende, the coaches that have handled me and all my teammates as well as management,” Masiko said.
In his inaugural season, Masiko scored four goals and made as many assists for the club. He is also remembered for scoring the club’s first goal in the Uganda Premier League.
