Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC on Sunday night unveiled their seventh signing of the season in the shape of Andrew Samson Kigozi during the 10th episode of the club’s TV show (KCCA FC TV).

Kigozi, a 22 year old former Police FC winger, who joins the club on a three-year deal becomes the seventh player to join the Lugogo-based outfit following earlier arrivals of Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume, Stefano Mazengo Loro, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani and Brian Aheebwa.

Kigozi has expressed delight in joining the 13-times league winners saying that his dream has come true due to lots of benefits that come along with playing for KCCA FC.

“KCCA is a top team that is why I joined them. It is a team of trophies, it has great managers and it’s very organized,” Kigozi said.

KCCA’s top performance in the land implies that they have the chance to play at Continental level for example at the CAF Champions League and the like, something Kigozi has picked out to be very crucial for his career in the near future.

“This will help me build my career. It will give me more exposure outside the country,” Kigozi added.

During the previous league that ended prematurely due to COVID-19, Kigozi managed five goals and four assists at Police FC. He has however promised a better display this coming season.

“Fans should expect happiness because I am a hard working man. I will be scoring goals. I will help the team reach its targets,” Kigozi noted.
Albeit a vast ray of talent on display at KCCA FC, Kigozi is ready to put in the work and challenge for his right-wing position and be among the club’s top scorers.
