Uganda Premier League side Express FC on Wednesday evening confirmed the signing of Uganda Hippos (U-20 national football team) goalkeeper Denis Otim.
Otim, 20 joins Express from Western Regional League outfit Mbarara City FC on a four year deal and he is hoping to strengthen his career with the club.
“I have joined the Red Eagles because it’s a big club in the country and I expect to use it as a spring board to further my career” Otim told the club website.
Otim becomes the second goalkeeper to join the team following the arrival of Cryspus Kusiima on Monday this week.
Otim featured for Hippos during the 2019 CECAFA U20 tournament held in Uganda.
Otim’s joining Express implies that the goalkeeping department is now complete with number one choice Matthias Muwanga leading the way while Denis Otim and Cryspus Kusiima coming in second or third.
