Uganda Premier League side Express FC have announced the signing of forward Mustapha Kiragga. The 19 year old player joins the Red Eagles from Alexandria FC in South Africa and has signed a two year deal at the club.
Kiragga has expressed his delight in joining the team and now aims to strike the back of the net frequently.
“I am happy to be a Red Eagle, as a striker my target is to score as many goals and also help the team perform well,” Kiragga told the club website at his unveiling.
Kiragga’s arrival comes in handy for the club’s striking force and now with the player hoping to score as many goals to help the team finish in a better position, the fans have a reason to smile.
Goalkeepers Denis Otim and Chrispus Kusiima, defender Richard Bbosa and midfielder Abel Eturude are Express’ earlier signings.
Express, six time league winners are preparing for the upcoming football season which is scheduled to begin on 17th October 2020, if government reinstates competitive play which is currently on a halt as a preventative measure against COVID-19.
