Uganda Police FC on Wednesday unveiled former Vipers SC midfielder Frank Tumwesigye alias Zaga at their offices in Kibuli. Tumwesigye, 21 signed a two-year deal with the Uganda Premier League side.
Tumwesigye who is the club’s sixth signing in this transfer window has expressed delight in joining the ‘Cops’ and now seeks to deliver goods for the team and also reignite his career.
“I feel so great signing for Police FC,” Tumwesigye told the club media adding that; “I am already feeling at home here. I am looking at developing my talent and working hard to ensure that both the club and myself achieve goals.”
Tumwesigye says team work and support from stake holders will help the team achieve its goals. He also assured fans of great times ahead.
Club CEO Fahad Lumu believes that Tumwesigye is a good addition to the team and hopes that he will return good proceeds in the upcoming campaign.
“We promised to unveil you players who are not competitors but winners too,” Lumu said adding that; “we believe that the man power we are acquiring will help us achieve our goals.”
The club’s other new signings are; Tonny Mawejje, Muhamood Hassan, Muwadda Mawejje, Eric Ssenjobe and Derrick Ochan.
Ruben Kimera, Joseph Sentume, Johnson Odong, Denis Rukundo, Yusuf Ssozi, Bashir Kabuye, Mubarak Nsubuga, Emmanuel Kiryowa and Musa Matovu have extended their stay at the club.
