Uganda Premier League side Express FC have unveiled defensive midfielder Isaac Nsengiyunva ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
Nsengiyunva, 20, joins the Red Eagles on a three year deal from Regional League outfit Free Stars FC based in Mukono. He becomes the club’s ninth signing this transfer window.
After crossing to the top tier league, Nsengiyunva has expressed his delight and humility after joining the six time league winners stating that it’s going to be a worthwhile journey as he seeks to pay back the favor.
“I am exceedingly humbled to join the Red Eagles,” Nsengiyunva told the club website adding that the media had already provided him with much knowledge about the club.
“I have read a lot about the club and I like the direction it’s taking. I am here to help the team achieve its targets in the future,” Nsengiyunva added.
Nsengiyunva will be tasked with protecting the back four everytime he is on the pitch.
Meanwhile, Express’ other signings are; Mahad Yaya, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Denis Otim, Crispus Kusiima, Abel Eturude, Mustafa Kiragga, Richard Bbosa and Baker Sakah.
