Express FC latest addition to their side in this transfer window is all-round defender Enock Walusimbi. The player has since been received with both arms after he sealed a two-year deal over the weekend.
Express Head coach Wasswa Bossa has spoken out on how they (technical team) arrived at signing Walusimbi. He also believes that the player is a great addition to the Uganda Premier League side.
“I have always kept an eye on Enock and those that know him can agree with me that he brings a lot to us,” Bbosa told the club website adding that; “his game intelligence and leadership qualities are next to none.”
Bbosa adds that the overall spending spree at the club won’t go to the drain especially with the arrival of quality players like Walusimbi.
Walusimbi’s three seasons at his former club Bright Stars and guiding the Buganda Province team to the 2019 FUFA Drum title speaks volumes about his experience and will therefore help Wasswa Bossa’s charges create a solid backline for next season.
Dubbed Lucio, Walusimbi is the 15th signing for the club and with the new season pushed a month back from 17th October, The Red Eagles will hope that FUFA clears them for training as soon as possible.
