Early this week (Tuesday), Hyundai Skywalkers Volleyball Club which is home to Ugandan International, Daudi Okello and a team in the Korea V-League started their campaign on a winning note at home against Woori Card.
Skywalkers eased past Woori in straight sets, 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-19) to start the season on a ‘title favorites’ note.
Okello, an outside hitter put up a man of the match shift, managing 30-points in the 3 sets to set the tone for the 2020/21 Korean – V League season.
“It was a good start for us in order to boost our confidence for the season, the team worked so hard for the result.” Okello told Inside Volleyball.
Skywalkers are now atop the table with maximum points from one game.
Skywalkers next match is away to Blue Fangs on Saturday 24th October 2020.
Okello believes that the tone they set up on Tuesday will help them pick up another win in their second game of the season.

“It was very important to win game one,” Daudi Okello said adding that; “we shall continue working hard and possibly win our next game. We are still focused on all our games and always go out their to achieve our goals,” Okello stated.
Skywalkers will seek to continue their campaign on a winning note and increase their championship credentials.
