The draws for the 2020 Buganda Masaza Cup Football tournament were held on Monday at ‘Kooti Ya Kisekwa’ in Bulange, Mengo
The tournament will kick off on December 13th, 2020, and will be held at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru. The event was initially meant to kick off in July this year but a continued ban on sports then due to COVID-19 forced organizers to make adjustments.

With the event’s road map now clear, the tournament will only have 16 teams seeded into four groups. Last year there were 18 teams.
The official launch of the tournament will be on 17th November 2020 at the Bulange gardens in Mengo.

Team licensing process will start on 18th November and will climax by 20th November 2020.

They will play these games behind closed doors (without fans) as a COVID-19 preventive measure.

However, Butambala, Busujju and Mawogola Ssaza teams were not represented during the meeting in Bulange and have not been included though one of the three teams will be made fourth team in Butikiro group.

2020 Masaza Cup Groups:

Butikiro: Bulemezi, Ssingo, Buluri, Late comer 1
