Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers SC are out of the CAF Champions League after they lost 1-0 to Sudan outfit Al Hilal on Sunday evening in Khartoum.
Ahmad Musa was on the score sheet for the home side as he slotted home in the 63rd minute.
The away defeat in the league’s preliminary round implies that Vipers are out of the competition off a 2-0 aggregate loss following a 1-0 defeat at home about a week ago.
Al Hilal will now face the winner between Asante Kotoko and Nouadhibou of Mauritania in the next round of the competition.
