*Wakiso 2-2 Bright Stars

KCCA FC have suffered their second straight league defeat after losing 1-2 to URA FC on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in one of the fixtures of matchday five of the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.

In form forward Brian Aheebwa gave KCCA a dream start when he slotted home in the 26th minute after capitalizing on Samuel Ssenyonjo’s efforts.

However, the visitors replied in the 31st minute through Benjamin Nyakoojo who evened the score.

Shafiq Kagimu completed URA’s comeback in the 36th minute after capitalizing on Joackiam  Ojera’s cross.

URA would have earned a 1-3 half time lead had Ivan Sserubiri converted from the spot in the 34th minute.

In the second half, there was nothing much eventful but URA’s Mandela Ashraf came close in the 56th minute but his effort went wide.

KCCA teenage sensation Bright Anukani was handed his senior debut and even came close in the 78th minute when Aheebwa passed the ball to him but his efforts went wide.

KCCA once again lose to URA at home and both sides took it to social media to react on the score with the visitors claiming the stadium’s name should be changed to theirs whilst KCCA looked humble and had less to say.

Meanwhile at Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium, Wakiso Giants were held by visitors Bright Stars to a 2-2 draw following late drama.
