Midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba has been unveiled by Uganda Premier League side Express FC on a one-year deal after he run down his contract with KCCA FC last season.
The 27 year old who will don his favourite shirt the number 10 says making the decision to join the six time league champions was an easy one.
“First of all I would like to thank the management of the club (Express FC) for making this happen,” Mutyaba told the club website.
“I had many options on the table but none fitted the bill to my satisfaction. I join a club that has a lot of ambition, good organization and great players therefore I couldn’t have made a better decision,” Mutyaba added.
“Fantastic” like he’s fondly known by his peers brings along alot of creativity for head coach Wasswa Bossa especially in the final third.
Best known for his ability to break down defences with this intricate passes, Mutyaba is good at dead ball situations and also has an eye for goal with his long range shooting.
With the Uganda Premier League expected to resume in February, “Fanta” will be tasked with ensuring the Red Eagles maintain their unbeaten run and better their current 6th league position.
Muzamiru Mutyaba becomes the 19th signing for Wasswa Bossa this season at the club. The new faces are tasked with ensuring the Red Eagles claim the elusive seventh league title which was last won in 2012.
