FUFA has held an orientation workshop for members of the FUFA Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeals Committee that was held on Monday at Jevine Hotel, Rubaga.
According to the Federation of Uganda Football AssociationsCommunications Director – Ahmed Hussein, the exercise is in line with the FUFA polls (elections) due in August this year.
A new FUFA President and his Executive will be elected into office by August 2021 for a four year term.
Elections will also be conducted for football leaders at the District, Regional and Special Interest Groups Football Associations.
The FUFA Electoral Committee will serve for a period of four years (2021-2024) as per the Federation of Uganda Football AssociationsCommunications Statutes.
This committee was approved by the 96th Federation of Uganda Football AssociationsCommunications General Assembly at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi.
The road map and guidelines for the elections will be issued by the Electoral Committee.

Mathias Bwiire (Chairperson), Rita Aliguma (Member), Joram Katende (Member), Dennis Ojwee (Member), Richard Mpaaka (Member)
Standby Committee Members: Moses Odong, Oscar Ngobi, Richard Barigye.
