Uganda Police FC have moved to the top of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) table following their 2 – 0 win against BUL FC on Tuesday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

After a goalless first half, forward Johnson Odongo inspired the Cops past a seemingly resilient BUL side with a goal and an assist after the break and was named man of the match.

Odongo found the back of the net in the 68th minute before assisting Brian Mayanja Muluuli for his goal in the 76th minute.

The Tuesday triumph implies that Police FC move to the top of the league table off 16 points off five wins and one draw.

However, BUL who beat KCCA 2 – 1 last time out are now 12th on the table with seven points from seven games.

Both Police and BUL have daunting fixtures coming up next with the Cops traveling to Kitende to face title holders Vipers SC on Friday while BUL will be up against Express on Saturday.
