Uganda 4-1 Tunisia
Derrick Kakooza scored a hat-trick as Uganda Hippos beat Tunisia 4-1 in the semi final match of the AFCON U20 tournament currently underway in Mauritania.
Kakooza scored twice in the second half (50′ 73′) after he had scored one goal in the first half (36′).
The other goal for Uganda was scored by Richard Basangwa, who drilled first blood in the fourth minute to put the Morley Byekwaso coached side on song.
Meanwhile, Adam Karim Benlamine scored Tunisia’s only goal in the 39th minute but their attempts to launch a comeback in the second were futile after Uganda put the game out of sight.
Uganda who are debutants at the tournament will face Ghana in the final that will be played on Saturday. Ghana beat Gambia 1-0 in the other semi final.
