Sadat Anaku scored three goals as KCCA FC beat Busoga United 0-4 at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru in Jinja during the Tuesday afternoon fixture of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) 2020/21 season.
Charles Lwanga scored KCCA’s other goal later in the game as KCCA claimed maximum points on the road.
Anaku claimed his first goal of the match in the second minute of play, capitalizing on Bright Anukani’s pass to sprint for the back of the net.
KCCA dominated most parts of the first half with Busoga’s major chance coming in the 24th minute when Jeromy Kirya aimed for the back of the net but Charles Lukwago was equal to the task.
In the 57th minute Anaku tapped in his second for the day before completing his hattrick in the 78th minute to claim man of the match honors.
With two minutes to play, Charles Lwanga put icing on the cake with a fourth goal for the Kasasiro Boys who gave their hosts no chance to answer back.
After 11 match days, KCCA move to the fourth position on the table with 20 points. Busoga are 14th on the 16-team table with just five points.
Meanwhile, Express FC are back to the top of the table after an away win against newly promoted side Kitara FC at Kavumba. Frank Kalanda scored a 75th minute penalty to earn the Red Eagles maximum points on the road. Express are atop the table off 25 points, two above Vipers who host Bright Stars on Wednesday at Kitende.
