Police FC will lock horns with URA FC on Tuesday, 9th March 2021 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in one of the matchday 13 fixtures of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) 2020/21 season.
Last time out, the Cops drew 2-2 with record league winners SC Villa. It was a result that left Police fourth on the table standings with 24 points.
Three points and over a two-goal win for Police tomorrow will see them overtake URA who are in the third position with an eight goal difference. The three points will also get Police closer to the top of the table that’s currently occupied by Express who are on 28 points.
Police FC Coach Abdallah Mubiru believes that his side is very ready for the match and will capitalize on home advantage to collect all three points.
“The players are ready, fit and motivated to face URA tomorrow,” Mubiru told the club website.
“It is one of the big games we have. We are aware of the impact of a loss to us so we are looking forward to managing ourselves and the game itself better than the way we did the previous game,” Mubiru added.

Mubiru added that his side is eager to bounce back to winning ways, but to do that, they must stop URA who are on a four-game winning streak.
The Tax Collectors come as a tough opponent for Police as they have come victors against them only twice in the last six meetings, but Mubiru insists the boys are ready and motivated this time round.
