-Vipers SC vs KCCA FC
-Onduparaka FC vs URA FC
-Bright Stars FC vs SC Villa
-Mbarara City FC vs BUL FC
The Uganda Premier League match-day 15 will continue on Wednesday with four fixtures on the menu.
The big one will be at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende where defending champions Vipers SC will be hosting 13-time winners KCCA FC.
Vipers will be desperate for victory so as to keep tabs with leaders URA FC.
Fred Kajoba’s side were beaten 2-1 by URA leaving them three points off the pace and they know that a poor result on Wednesday may leave them up to six points adrift of top spot in case the other results do not go their way.
Ahead of the game, the Venoms have been boosted by the return of defenders Paul Willa and Rashid Toha who missed the last game due to suspension.
Striker Shaban Muhammad who has been out for a while is understood to have recovered and is in line to face his former side.
KCCA FC on the other hand are also out on the hunt for all three points as they hope to keep within touching distance of the sides above them.
Mike Mutebi’s side have underperformed so far this campaign and start the day in 4th place, six point off the top of the log.
Currently unbeaten in their past eight games, winning five and drawing three, the Kasasiros will be confident that they can take care of Vipers, a side that they have not lost to in their last five meetings.
In Arua, leaders URA FC will be out for a seventh successive victory when they take on Onduparaka FC.
The Tax Collectors have been in excellent form and the victory over Vipers in the last game was the exclamation mark to that.
The return to fitness of duo Joackim Ojera and Alionzi Nafian is a major boost to Sam Siimbwa’s side who are also yet to lose a game away from home this season (W6 D1).
For Onduparaka, they have endured a shaky season so far as they have failed to come up with any reasonable run of good results.
They loss to SC Villa last Sunday, a game that came off two successive victories, further highlighting their luck of consistency.
Their home form has not been convincing either as they have won only two games at the Green Light Stadium since the season started (D3 L2).
In Mbarara, Livingstone Mbabazi will be marking his return as Mbarara City FC head coach when they host In-form BUL FC at Kakyeka.
Mbabazi was announced as Brian Ssenyondo’s replacement and he takes over a side that has lost three of their past four games including both of the last two.
Sitting in 12th spot, Mbarara are just two points away from the relegation zone and will be eyeing three vital points at home on Wednesday.

For BUL, they have been surging up the table in recent weeks and will hope to continue in the same vain.
Four victories in their past five games have seen Arthur Kyesimira’s side climb from the relegation zone up into 9th spot.
BUL also come into the game having won both of their last two away fixtures, beating both Onduparaka and Bright Stars.
The other day’s game pits record winners SC Villa away to Bright Stars FC in Kavumba.
Villa have been inconsistent of late and as a result, have drop as low as 7th and can slip further to 9th if results do not go their way on Wednesday.
Having gathered just a point out of a possible six, the Jogoos bounced back with a 1-0 win at home on Sunday, requiring a stoppage time Nicholas Kabonge goal to get the job done.
Against Bright Stars, Edward Kaziba’s side take on a team that is also fresh from victory as they beat Mbarara 1-0 last Saturday.
The win in Mbarara was the Stars’ first in six games having lost three and drawn the other two in that period.
Bright Stars start the day in 10th spot with 17 points from 14 games.
