Kobs will play their matchday four Rugby Premier League fixture against Rams at the Makerere Graveyard due to a fixture overload at their backyard, Legends Grounds.

Rugby Premier League, Saturday Fixtures

2 p.m – Rhinos vs Mongers @Legends
4 p.m – Warriors vs Pirates @Legends
4 p.m – Kobs vs Rams @Makerere
2 p.m – Buffaloes vs Hippos @Kyadondo
4 p.m – Heathens vs Impis @Kyadondo

Kobs were initially supposed to play host to Rams at midday at Legends but the time wasn’t fair so they requested to play at a different pitch at 4 p.m and they were allocated Makerere Graveyard, which also happens to be home to Rams.

Legends was initially set to host three matches, that is; Kobs vs Rams, Rhinos vs Mongers and Warriors vs Pirates but Kobs opted for a new venue

Albeit being away, Kobs Coach Davis Kyewalabye believes that his side will put up a good shift against Rams.

“It doesn’t change the fact that we’re hosts much as we are taking the game away from Legends. We shall come prepared and we believe we shall win at Makerere,” Kyewalabye said ahead of kick-off.

Kobs are still perfect in the league with 15 points from three matches, one ahead of second placed Heathens who are title holders. Rams are eighth on the 10-team table with just a point but Kyewalabye doesn’t want any complacency on his team.

“Winning three matches in a row doesn’t mean we have won the league. We have to play well until the end of the season,” Kyewalabye added.
