Uganda Cranes Contingent has left for Malawi on Sunday morning ahead of their final AFCON Qualifier against Malawi.
Uganda will take on the Malawi Flames in Blantyre on Monday, 29th March 2021.
A total of 36 personnel including 23 players flew out of the country and are expected to land in Malawi later in the day.
Fahad Bayo, Timothy Awanyi and Patrick Kaddu have all been left behind as they are carrying injuries while Elvis Bwomono departed for the UK on Thursday.
FUFA Executive Committee Member Ronnie Kalema is the Leader of the Delegation but FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha and Executive Committee Member Ariga Rasoul have also travelled with the team.
Dr. James Ssekajugo and National Teams Officer Paul Mukatabala traveled as advanced party team to prepare for the arrival of the team.

The Cranes will conduct a training session on Sunday evening at Kamuzu Stadium ahead of tomorrow’s match at 4pm (EAT) on the same venue.
