Arua Hill SC and Mbale Heroes settled for a 1-1 draw in their FUFA Big League matchday four fixture played on Thursday, 15th April 2021 at Mbale Stadium.

Ibrahim Kibumba earned the home side a first half lead when he slotted home from the spot in the 19th minute.

Caesar Okhuti’s 69th minute strike levelled matters but the atmosphere became chaotic.

Arua Hill players and officials were pelted with stones by the home fans moments after Okhuti’s goal. Right back Rashid Yekini was reportedly stoned on the head but he managed to complete the game.

The result means Arua Hill is still unbeaten in the Elgon Group of the competition. Arua Hill lead their group with eight points from four games (two wins and two draws), just one point ahead of second placed Maroons FC.

Mbale are seventh on the Elgon Group table with three points from three draws.

Tooro United lead the Rwenzori Group with nine points from three four games, but one point ahead of second placed Nyamityobora FC.
