Maroons FC visit Kataka FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium as matchday six of the FUFA Big League kicks off on Wednesday.
The Prisons side have lost their last two games on the bounce. The lost 2-1 to Calvary away and 1-0 at home to Mbale Heroes
Kataka on the other hand, managed to secure a 1-0 victory from Blacks Power at Emokori grounds in Bukedea.
Speaking ahead of the game, Maroons FC head coach Charles Ayiekoh is optimistic his team will bounce back.
“We have a very big task facing a side that has not lost any game at home with young players who play attacking football but all in all we shall overcome I believe. Ayeiko said.
“All we need is to win this game to come back to normal, good enough we are not far away, teams are neck to neck.”
Maroons will still have to do without Emmanuel Olinga, Samuel Omara, Solomon Walusimbi, Abraham Tusubira, Junior Amanya, Caesar Olega, Nelson Mandela due to injuries but welcome back Musa Ssali.
Kataka sit second on the Elgon Group table with nine points two behind table leaders Arua Hill SC, maximum points can temporarily take them on top of the table.
Maroons are in fourth with seven points and they will move to the second position if they win on Wednesday.
