-Vipers SC 0-1 Express FC
-Kyetume FC 3-2 Wakiso Giants
Express FC registered arguably their result of the season on Friday as they beat Vipers SC 1-0 at Kitende.
Midfielder John Byamukama popped up with the goods, netting a goal of the season contender to win the contest on 60 minutes.
Byamukama who has found playing time hard to come by since joining the Red Eagles at the start of the season, connected neatly with a Martin Kizza pass before rifling past Bashir Ssekagya in the Vipers goal.
Express had the better chances in the first half but failed to take the lead with Godfrey Lwesibawa guilty of missing on three occasions and Eric Kambale heading over from a header.
Vipers who looked out of sorts in the opening 45 minutes, responded after going down but the likes of Yunus Ssentamu, Paul Mucurezi, Karim Watambala, Disan Galiwango and substitute Richard Basangwa could all not beat Mathais Muwanga in the Express goal.
The victory takes Express to 40 points in third spot while Vipers stay top, level on points (43) with second placed URA FC who host Mbarara City FC on Saturday.
At Nakisunga, Kyetume FC came from behind to overcome Wakiso Giants FC 3-2.
The returning Vianne Ssekajugo put the visitors in the lead inside 15 minutes but Robert Ssentongo replied five minutes later to level matters.

A minute after Ssentongo had equalized, Ivan Bogere struck for Wakiso to restore their lead, on they took into half time.
Twelve minutes after the break, former Wakiso Giants midfielder Feni Ali drew the Slaughter level, once again, slotting into the back of the net after he was set up by Saka Sharif.
