Tunisian volleyball outfit Esperance on Tuesday emerged winners of the 2021 men’s Africa Club Volleyball Championship after a clinical triumph over Egyptian side Zamalek in the final.
Esperance who were playing on home soil beat Zamalek 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-10) in the event’s final held at Sidi Bousaid Hall in Tunis, Tunisia.
The Tuesday victory means that Esperance claim their fifth title at the continental meet and go level with the final opponents. Esperance also triumphed in 1994, 1998, 2000 and 2014 while Zamalek won in 1984 ,1987, 2008, 2009 and 2012.
