-Express FC vs Kitara FC
-Bright Stars FC vs Vipers SC
MYDA FC vs Wakiso Giants FC
The Uganda Premier League match-day 25 gets underway on Friday with three games on the menu.
At Wankulukuku, Express FC will be hoping to stay top of the standings when they host Kitara FC at Wankulukuku.
After both URA FC and Vipers SC lost earlier in the week, the Red Eagles who are near to full strength and missing only long-term absentee George Ssenkaba, moved top of the pile thanks to a 4-0 win over Busoga United FC.
Sitting currently on 55 points, they are just a point above second placed URA and two ahead of Vipers.
They have been in very good form of late, winning all their last six games and will be hot favourites to take all three points against a Kitara side that has been the poorest this season and sit bottom of the table.
The Masindi based out-fit have collected just 14 points all season and with only five games to play, they look destined for an instant return to the Big League.
Currently 12 points adrift of safety, Kitara need a miracle to pull of a great escape.
Going into Friday’s game, they must be sort of motivated after defeating MYDA FC 3-0 in their last game.
This will be the third ever meeting between the two sides. Each has won one of the past two meetings with Kitara winning in the cup while Express won in the league.
At Kavumba, Vipers are hoping they can take care of In-form Bright Stars FC on the same day.
The Venoms will be desperate to return to winning ways after surrendering a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at home to Mbarara City FC on Tuesday.
Fred Kajoba’s side has several first-team players returning from injury including the likes of captain Halid Lwaliwa, Disan Galiwango, Karim Watambala and Livingstone Mulondo.
Sitting just two points behind Express, Vipers need to only better the Red Eagles result on Friday to return to top spot.
Vipers has never lost to Bright Stars, winning seven and as many draws from 14 league meetings.
The hosts are however in good form, going into the game with a 10-match unbeaten run.
The good run of form has seen Baker Mbowa’s side climb into 5th on the log and they are also hoping to return to winning ways after drawing 0-0 away to Onduparaka last time out.
In Tororo, MYDA FC and Wakiso Giants FC clash at the King George IV Memorial Stadium.

Wakiso Giants will be looking to maintain their five game unbeaten. The purple sharks started the season in poor form but they have picked up pace of late.
Wakiso Giants comes into this game with confidence after beating BUL FC 2-1 early this week but the only worry is their away form is questionable as they are winless 5 (D3 L2).
MYDA on the other hand needs a miracle to survive in the league as they have picked just 14 points from 25 matches and they sit 15th in the log 11 away from safety.
The Tororo based club lost their last game, losing 3-1 away to fellow strugglers Kitara FC.
The two sides drew 2-2 in their early season meeting.
