The Uganda Rugby Cranes’ coaching team has reduced the provisional squad of the national side to 34 players.
Recently, the Rugby XVs team management selected 70 players from 11 rugby clubs to the first national team training session at Kyadondo Rugby Club.
The exercise then was mainly a screening, profiling and testing session and it is from that session that 32 players were selected for the official training camps outside Kampala in preparation of the International games starting in June.
“We have retained determined players who are willing to learn and work as a unit. We shall just work on the unit skills and improve on their individual prowess to play,” Head Coach Brian Makalama told Uganda Rugby Union (URU) website.
