The final training session of the Uganda Cranes team slated for Monday morning at the MTN Omondi Stadium will be conducted behind closed doors as a way of observing the newly released and strict Covid-19 SOPs meant to curb the possible spread of the pandemic.
Uganda Cranes are preparing for a World Cup qualifier build up match against South Africa Bafana on 10 June at Orlando Stadium and will flyout tonight aboard Uganda Airlines.
FUFA recently banned spectators at any of it’s organized events and for the Uganda Cranes training session, even media has been banned.
“FUFA media team will provide timely necessary content from the final session before Uganda Cranes fly out on Monday night 8: 40 p.m aboard Uganda Airlines,” FUFA Communications Director, Ahmed Hussein said after confirming a media ban for the national team training.

On Sunday night, President Yoweri Museveni also banned fans from any sports event as a Covid-19 preventive measure during his televised address to the nation on the way forward following the sharp rise of confirmed positive cases.
