Mutebi reportedly takes over at Vipers

Mutebi spent six year at KCCA FC

Vipers SC have secured the services of Mike Mutebi as their head coach for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

According to Swift Sports, Mutebi has signed a three year deal to take over from the vacancy at the Kitende based side.

Vipers have been without a head coach since the departure of Fred Kajoba last month.

Paul Kiwanuka has been executing the interim role at the four-time Uganda Premier League champions.

Mutebi is expected to officially begin his work at Vipers SC as soon as sporting activities are given the go ahead.

Mutebi spent six years (2015-2021) at KCCA FC, winning three league titles, two Uganda Cups, Four Supers Cups and one CECAFA club cup making him the most successful coach in the club’s history.

Vipers finished third on the Uganda Premier League table, last season, with 55 points in 26 games.
