Lubega joins Portuguese second-division side

Lubega has joined his second European side in less than a year

Uganda Cranes forward/striker Edrisa Lubega has joined Portuguese second-division outfit Estrella de Amadora.

The former FUFA Big League side-Proline FC striker joins Estrella on a one-year loan deal until the end of last season.

Estrella will be his second side in less than a year, having joined Paide Linnameeskond at the start of 2021.

In Europe, Lubega has also featured for Floridsdorfer Athletiksport-Club, Primbram FK and SV Guntamatic Reid.

Last season, he scored 14 goals from 26 matches at Paide Linnameeskond, marking his most impressive campaign.

Lubega is a full Uganda Cranes international and has made 11 appearances since 2016.
