Express FC are understood to be working harder than normal to try and convince Murushid Juuko, Eric Kambale and Mathias Muwanga to extend their contracts.
All three ran down their previous deals and are currently free agents.
Juuko signed a one-year deal at the start of last season and he is believed to be eyeing a deal outside Uganda.
Muwanga too is in talks with clubs from Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia.
For Kambale, he is being targeted by both URA FC and Vipers SC.
The trio was integral for the Red Eagles as they clinched a 7th league title last season with Kambale scoring 15 goals.
Express FC will be representing Uganda at the CAF Champions league next season and believe the three will be pivotal in their bid to reach the group stages of the competition.
