Forward Bruno Bbosa has been promoted from Maroons Sports Academy to it’s senior team, Maroons FC, the FUFA Big League side have confirmed.
“Bruno Bbosa has matured alot into a complete striker impressing the coaches with an aerial threat, strong movements, good with both feet and devastatingly speed into the box,” the club said on Saturday via its website.
Bbosa has been promoted into the first team having risen through the ranks within the academy commencing at the age of 8 years, a journey he delights in.
“It’s a great opportunity to impress the coaches and fans who have trusted me since I was young in this great club 10 years ago, my moods are already tuned ahead of the next challenge. Scoring those important goals will be a good give back to the team at large,” Bbosa told the club website.
A graduate of the FUFA Junior League playing for the Youth team, Bruno is currently 18 years of age.
Bbosa’s contract with the club runs up to 2024 after he signed a three year deal upon promotion to the senior side.
