Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) and Victoria Pearls (women’s senior national team) Head Coach Suraj Karavadra have reached a decision to part ways by mutual consent.
Karavadra was appointed as Head Coach of the Victoria Pearls in April 2021 and was in charge of the side during the ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers in Botswana September 2021.
“We are very grateful to Karavadra for his services, workmanship and commitment to the assignment. We wish Suraj all the best in his future endeavours,” UCA said in a missive.
Initially Karavadra was given a two year deal on his appointment. The reasons for the ending of his role as women’s team tactician haven’t been revealed yet.
However, an interim coach for the Victoria Pearls will be announced in due time.
