FUFA Technical Centre
Wednesday, 05-01-2022 @3pm
Busoga United are going through a rough period at the moment and are showing no signs of improvement.
The players are reportedly not being paid while the results on the pitch are awful.
The Students have not won any of their last eight matches and are on a run on seven successive defeats.
As a result, they start the day second from bottom with just seven points.
For Onduparaka, they have not been performing any better of late.
The Caterpillars are winless in their last six games (D4 L2). Their last victory came in the 1-0 defeat of Police FC on November 21st.
Following a two-point deduction for hooliganism, Onduparaka have dropped into 13th with 10 points and are now embroiled in the battle to fend off the drop.
Against Busoga, the Caterpillars will view this fixture as one they can use to climb further up the log.
Busoga United are expected to be without Shaka Ssozi, Steven Okello and Nicholas Mwere.
Onduparaka will be without vice-captain Rashid Okocha who is suspended for the rest of the season. Rashid Agau is also out with injury while Jimmy Ndalambi is suspended. However, Dudu Ramadhan and Emmanuel Oketch are bot available after missing the last game with injury.
This will be the 12th meeting between the two sides since September 2016. In the past 11 meetings, Onduparaka have won six, Busoga two with the other three ending in draws. Onduparaka come into the game having won three of their past four visits to Busoga (D0 L1). Last season, Busoga took four points of Onduparaka including three in the 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture.
