The aforementioned mentioned teams won their respective games on matchday two with UCU Lady Cardinals fighting hard to beat She Maroons while She Corporate on the other hand stunned Kawempe Muslim.
In Mukono, UCU Lady Cardinals dug deep to overcome new comers She Maroons thanks to Hasifa Nassuna’s first half strike.
The lethal forward tucked home in the 41st minute and this turned out to be the decisive moment of the game.
The win takes UCU Lady Cardinals to second place on 6 points same as leaders She Corporate FC.
She Corporate stunned Kawempe Muslim at MUBS Arena, Nakawa with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Grace Nasango and Danielita Favor Nambatya.
It should be noted that the pair also scored in their opening game against Uganda Martyrs which they also won with the same scoreline.
Elsewhere, defending Champions Lady Doves continued to struggle, suffering defeat at the hands of Uganda Martyrs.
The Believes were humbled at home in Masindi to a 3-1 loss. Latifah Nakasi, Catherine Nagadya and Elizabeth Nakigozi scored for Uganda Martyrs while Lady Doves got their consolation through captain Riticia Nabbosa.
Olila High School WFC were the biggest winners on matchday two, routing Rines SS WFC 5-0 at Soroti Stadium.
Grace Aluka and Cecelia Apiding netted a brace apiece while Siporosa Amoding scored the other goal for the Soroti based side.
The game between Tooro Queens and Kampala Queens in Fort Portal ended with no winner and no goals scored.
