Uganda U-17 Women team optimistic ahead of trip to Ethiopia

2022 Women’s Under-17 World Cup qualifiers –India

Return Leg (Sunday, 20th March 2022): Ethiopia Vs Uganda in Addis Ababa

(Aggregate: 2-2)

The Uganda U-17 national women team head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has named the travelling squad to Ethiopia for the return leg of the 2022 FFIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup qualifiers.

The return leg will be played on Sunday, 20th March 2022 in Addis Ababa.

A delegation of 33 people departs the Country on Friday afternoon 18th March 2022 at 2 PM aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

Kiyingi is optimistic that the team will give their best show in the return leg.

‘Since the first leg, we have been training well. The morale is high in the team and all the players are ready to give their best come Sunday in the return leg. We shall give the best spirited fight in the match’ Kiyingi revealed to www.fufa.co.ug.

The return leg will be played on Sunday, 20th March 2022 in Addis Ababa.

Both teams are tied 2-2 on aggregate after the first leg played at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on 4th March 2022.

FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Mulindwa is the Leader of the Delegation.
