Wanderers went to Kamengo and best the home side by 5 wickets in a rare win for the visitors in the National Men’s 50 over League.

The home side Ceylon Lions batted 1st and scored just 47 runs inspired bowling from new recruit Frank Nsubuga (2/4) including 7 maidens from his 10 overs and the returning Davis Karashani (3/3) in 2 overs.

Davis Karashani picked up the 1st hatrick of the season.

In the chase Wanderers lost 5 wickets but were never troubled as they chased down the small total. Davis Karashani knocking off the winning runs to earn the man of match award.

In Kyambogo ACC were resolute in the pursuit of 222 set by Tornado Bee. Tornado Bee playing their 1st game in the 2022 season put together a good team total of 222 with the blade of Jonathan Ssebanja contributing 73.

In the chase ACC batted deep with the 8th wicket partnership of Emmanuel Odeng (39) and Oyaga Sadam (42) contributing 100 runs as the game ended in a tie.

Important points for ACC who had not yet scored any points this season while for Tornado Bee they must be filling like points dropped.

In Entebbe Aziz Damani Development continued their good form as they walked past Nile Cricket Club.

The youngsters of Damani failed to bat their full 50 overs with Ronald Lutaaya (44) and Munir Ismael (36) notable contributors with the bat.

Nile never got going as they folded for just 52 runs. Aziz Damani Development staying on course for promotion to the top flight.
