The first round of the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League enters the closing stages with teams set to play their penultimate games over the weekend.

All the ten teams will be in action from Saturday to Monday with competition stiff both at the top and bottom.

She Corporate FC have been the most impressive so far and currently lead the log on 17 points. The runaway leaders are four points above second placed UCU Lady Cardinals FC.

The Sharks who drew goalless against She Maroons last weekend will hope to bounce to winning ways as they host FC Tooro Queens on Sunday in Nakawa.

The visitors have only won once this season. Their victory came away to Uganda Martyrs WFC but five of their seven games have ended in stalemates and losing the other.

Against She Corporate, the Fort Portal based outfit will have to dig deep inorder to secure maximum points. It should be noted that the former are the only unbeaten side in the League.

On Saturday, Uganda Martyrs WFC who picked a point off Kampala Queens in midweek are once again on the road, this time visiting She Maroons in Luzira

She Maroons have been able to collect four points from their last two games and will hopeto carry the same momentum as they face Uganda Martyrs WFC.

Elsewhere, Olila High School will take on Kampala Queens while wounded Kawempe Muslim will seek solace as they visit Lady Doves FC in Masindi.

The final game of matchday eight will see UCU Lady Cardinals FC hosting Rines SS WFC as the former seek to maintain or narrow the gap on leaders She Corporate FC.
