The fixture between Rines SS WFC and Lady Doves FC will get Matchday nine of the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League underway on Friday.
Both Rines and Lady Doves come into Friday’s clash at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium seeking to improve given their sloppy start to the season.
Lady Doves who are the reigning Champions have had an indifferent campaign so far and looked a shadow of themselves given the lacklustre performance.
The Masindi based side have been reduced to fighting for survival with the relegation monster hovering over their heads.
The team can only account for six points from eight games so far and will go into the game against Rines seeking to secure maximum points as the first round concludes.
Rines on the other hand are equally sailing in the same boat with Lady Doves and have also garnered just six points but with a game in hand.
The League new comers are currently second from bottom and the ultimate target is to remain in the top tier.
In their previous outing, Rines nearly picked three points off UCU Lady Cardinals in Mukono only to concede a stoppage time equalizer.
Matchday nine action will continue on Saturday with Kampala Queens facing She Corporate in a top of the table clash that will be televised on UBC.
She Corporate are yet to lose a game this season and currently top of the log on 20 points, five ahead of second placed Kampala Queens.
Sunday will have three fixtures with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC hosting Olila High School, FC Tooro Queens taking on She Maroons while Uganda Martyrs WFC will be at home to UCU Lady Cardinals.
