Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC say that it’s an honor for them to host Mamelodi Sundowns assistant manager Rulani Mokwena who will be around for a period of one week.
The South African professional football manager will be in Uganda from 17th – 22nd June 2022.
Anisha Muhoozi who’s the KCCA FC CEO says that Mokwena’s visit is a good thing for the growth and development of the club.
“We are honored that the Mamelodi Sundowns coach is going to pay a courtesy visit to KCCA FC. This is in line with one of our objectives and goals, largely in one to do we strategic alliances and partnerships,” Muhoozi told the club media.
“He comes in to share knowledge as you know Mamelodi Sundowns is a very big brand and we look forward to hearing from him and to us interacting with him and see where he can help shade light on. These are things as a club we want to see happen because every there’s something new you can learn,” Muhoozi added.
The former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United Coach is coming purposely for knowledge sharing with the technical team of KCCA FC.

Former Uganda Cranes skipper Denis Onyango who is also a player at Mamelodi Sundowns FC has been a key factor in ensuring Rulani’s visit to KCCA FC comes to life.
The objective of the visit is to leverage new and existing collaborations and create a competitive advantage for the club and broaden the club’s capabilities.
In March 2017, when Mamelodi Sundowns played KCCA FC in the first round of the CAF Champions League at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Rulani was an assistant coach to Head Coach Pitso Mosimane.
The Masandawana Gaffer recently guided the club to their 12th Premier Soccer League title confirming their status as the most successful side in the South African Premier Soccer League era.
