Forward Isma Mugulusi is delighted to be part of the National Team set up again after overcoming a long term injury.
The creative player has been out of action for more than a year after sustaining a knee injury.
After a successful operation in January this year, Mugulusi has been undergoing a recovery process to gain his full fitness.
Currently part of the Uganda Cranes team preparing for African Nations Championship Qualifiers, the soft spoken forward indicates he is ready to play again.
“I thank the Almighty Allah for enabling me to return to my feet. I had a set back of a long-term injury but I managed to go through it mentally and physically and happy to be part of the National Team again,” Mugulusi told FUFA website.
Mugulusi was part of the Uganda U20 National Team that reached the final of the 2021 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Uganda Cranes (Locally based players) are preparing to face either Somalia or Tanzania at the final qualification hurdle for CHAN 2022.
The Winner on aggregate will qualify for the final tournament slated for January 2013 in Algeria.
