Defending Champions Rays of Grace and Paorihner Primary School are the two teams that will feature in this year’s final (Boys category) of the FUFA Primary Schools Championship also known as Odilo.
The aforementioned two schools won their respective semifinal matches on Tuesday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Rays of Grace who won the inaugural edition in 2019 were ruthless in their semifinal contest against Kibuli Islamic, winning 3-0 to storm the final.
Isaac Asiindu, Nicholas Kawooya and Abdul Kasibante were all on target for the Buikwe based outfit in the one sided affair.
Coach Richard Kamanzi was full of praise for his charges and indicated losing their first group game made them stronger.
“I want to thank the players for the performance today. When we lost our first game, we went back and regrouped and since then we have only become stronger. I hope we can be able to produce another good display and emerge winners,” he said.
In the other semifinal, Paorihner Primary School from Agago District edged Bright View on penalties to storm the final.
The closely contested clash ended one all in normal time with Joseph Alema and Joseph Langor scoring for Bright View and Paorihner respectively.
In the tense penalty shootout, Ahmed Muzamil failed to convert his kick thus granting the chance for Paorihner to win 4-3.
