Uganda Cranes contingent of players and officials to Algeria for CHAN Finals 2022 has arrived safely in Annaba. The team safely arrived at Houari Boumediene Airport in Algiers.
The team was officially welcomed by H.E the Ambassador of Uganda to Algeria and the Maghreb region John Crysostom Alintuma Nsambu.
The team is accommodated at Ben Mustapha Aouda Hotel opposite the Mediterranean Sea.
The team wil conduct its first CAF activities during the Team Arrival meeting on Thursday morning (10am) when players and officials get briefings on further details about the tournament.
Uganda will train later in the day (4.30pm) while Head coach Milutin Sredojevic and Captain Milton Karisa will attend the Official Prematch Press Conference on Friday 13.1.2023.
Uganda is pooled in Group B alongside Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
Uganda has featured at CHAN on five occasions namely; 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.
