Team Uganda of 10 athletes will jet out of the country today, August 1st 2023, to participate at the 7th Commonwealth Youth Games to be held in Trinidad & Tobago. The games will run from August 4th to 11th 2023.
To take part in the games, the participants have to be between the ages of 14 to 18 years. Uganda will field four swimmers and six athletes plus two Coaches.
The opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Youth Games will be held on August 4 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Trinidad and the closing ceremony on August 11 at the Pigeon Point Beach Facility, Tobago.
After the games, the Uganda contingent are expected to return home moments after the closing ceremony.
