The Cricket Cranes (Uganda men’s national cricket team) on Saturday spent a heartening half-day with the Missionaries of the Poor, spreading joy among mentally and physically disabled individuals at their Bethlehem Home in Busega, Uganda.
Ahead of their journey to the T20 World Cup, the team brought along essential supplies like maize flour, rice, beans, sugar, bread, clothes, shoes, and beddings, instilling hope within the community.
Participating in prayers, they left behind smiles on the faces of the less fortunate, truly embodying the ethos of the ‘ICCCricketForGood’ Legacy Programme.

The ‘Cricket for Good’ initiative, a part of the ICC’s global community outreach programme, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families worldwide. It addresses a range of challenges, from ensuring access to better food, water, health, and education to safeguarding against abuse and equipping them with essential life skills.
