FUFA stakes USD 30,000 winning bonus to She Corporate FC

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will reward She Corporate FC with USD 30,000 if they win the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal (CECAFA) Qualifiers.

Each member of the squad (players and officials) will get 1,000 USD for a contingent of 30 people.

The Ugandan Champions She Corporate FC will take on Simba Queens in the final tonight (7pm) at Chamazi Stadium.

FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim and his Executive have been rewarding excelling clubs in the region with bonuses. Express FC, Lady Doves FC and KCCA FC have been beneficiaries in the past.

However, to reach the final, She Corporate who were playing in the tournament for the first time shocked earlier favourites Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) 2-1 in the first semi final match played at the Azam Complex, Chamazi on Wednesday.

In the second semi final match Simba Queens outplayed AS Kigali WFC (Rwanda) to win 5-1.
