Vipers SC and Hima Cement have renewed sponsorship for another three years, this website has exclusively learned.
The three-time Uganda champions unveiled Hima Cement as kit sponsors in October 2016 on a three-year deal worth Shs632m but the two parties have been in negotiations since the expiry of the earlier understanding.
The club confirmed talks for contract renewal in July this year after Hima Cement officials led by Moses Kebba were led to a St Mary’s Kitende stadium tour by the club’s head of Marketing Simon Sekankya.
“Yes, we concluded and the new deal was sealed. We shall only announce it officially at the right time,” one of the top club officials revealed. Vipers are 5th on log with 7 points on the StarTimes Uganda Premier league table after three games.
