ISF: Uganda closer to World Cup glory in Dalian

Following the qualification of Uganda 1( Amus College School), Bukedea Comprehensive School too won their third match to top the log of group F in the ongoing ISF World Cup China 2024 in Dalian City.

Ssebumpenje Yusuf opened the scoring in the 10th Minute before Ssekisambu Reagan extended the lead in the 31st Minute.

Germany came to this encounter topping the log with 6 points but with a superior goal difference compared to that of Bukedea Comprehensive School (BCS).

This win follows Bukedea’s two wins in their first fixtures where they beat Tukmenistan 6 goals to zero and a two zero score against Brazil. BCS is yet to concede a single goal in the tournament and have scored 10 goals out of three fixtures.

The next game for BCS will be against Mexico on Thursday 23rd May. The leader of group F will face the lead of group E which has England (log leaders with 12 points after 4 games), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Hungary and Uganda 3 (SMACK).

In the other news, Uganda 1 (Amus College School) secured their spot in the last eight after winning two of their three fixtures of group G. They won against Chinese Taipei (7:), drew against Benin (0:0) and won against East African rivals Kenya (2:0) .

They face the leader of group H which is currently topped by Turkey (9 points) after winning all their three fixtures.

Boys Football table standings
Uganda 3 ( SMACK) suffered their 3rd loss after losing three goals to nil against group E leaders (England). SMACK has so far scored 2 goals and conceded 14 goals in three fixtures.

The Ugandan Girls team (Amus College School) will face the Czech Republic in their 3rd fixture. Uganda is in group C which is topped by Nigeria with 6 points after three games. A win for Amus will give them an advantage ahead of game day 4 where they will face Canada who have played 2 (won 1, lost 1).

The winner of group C will face the leader of group D which is currently topped by Kenya with 7 points.
