FUFA Junior League final
Saturday, 4pm
KCCA SA vs BUL JT, Njeru
Fee: Free entry

KCCA Soccer Academy and BUL FC Junior Team are set to battle for maiden FUFA Junior league title as the 2018-19 season climaxes this Saturday with the final at the FUFA technical center, Njeru.

Either side has had failed attempts in the last campaigns with KCCA SA being at this stage on two occasions both ending on a disappointing note.

The Jackson Magera side lost to Vipers SC Junior team in the 2015/16 final and Tooro United Junior team in the 2016/17 final. BUL JT is on this stage for the first time and will have to worry of KCCA SA lethal forward Sadat Anaku, who led the scoring charts in the regular season with 31 goals.

Anaku in action

Anaku, who recently graduated to the KCCA senior team, has been the FUFA junior league top scorer for the last three seasons and believes it is the right time his side wins the championship.

“We have come so close but failed. We want to climax the season as champions and everyone on the team is focused on achieving this goal,” noted Anaku, who will be playing his final game in the Junior league this weekend before crossing to the senior team.

“It is my last game in the Junior Team and I would be very happy if we win the trophy for a good season climax and my journey with the junior team,” he said.

KCCA SA that tabled treble group will miss injured Hassan Jurua and Innocent Biyika but in Anaku, Joseph Kiiza Bukenya, Gerald Kawooya, Ibrahim Juma and Sunday Opio, they have enough in the armory for the fixture.

BUL JT topped Hat trick group with only one loss and hope to make home advantage count as the final takes place on their home ground.

Simon Oketch, Hamis Diego, Reagan Kalyowa and Thomas Kabale will be the players BUL will bank on against the favorite KCCA SA. Vipers SC JT are the defending champions.

Past Winners:
2015- Kampala JT
2015/16 – Vipers SC JT
2016/17 – Tooro United JT
2017/18 – Vipers SC JT
