Lady Cranes 7s settle into Nairobi camp ahead of Rugby Africa Women’s 7s

The Uganda Rugby Union has confirmed the safe arrival of the Lady Cranes 7s team in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of this year’s Rugby Africa Women’s 7s Championship.

The squad of 12 players conducted their final blow-out training session on Thursday at Impal` a Rugby Club, marking the team’s last major workout before matchday.

Uganda has been drawn in Pool C, where they will face Burkina Faso and Zambia.

The Lady Cranes will open their campaign on Saturday, 15th November 2025, with their first match against Burkina Faso at 12:22 PM (EAT), followed by a clash with Zambia at 3:22 PM (EAT).

Fans across the continent will be able to follow the action live, with all matches broadcast through the Official Rugby Africa Facebook page and via Rugby Africa’s broadcast partner, RugbyPass TV.
